WHY SHOULD I LEASE MY OWN STUDIO?

Becoming an independent salon owner allows you to create your own business identity with your existing client base. It also enables you to increase your earning potential, set your own hours, and build stronger relationships with clients.
IS LEASING A STUDIO AT THE LOOK SALONS THE SAME THING AS “BOOTH RENTAL”?

Not at all. You’re not renting a chair in a common area. You actually have a key to your own private studio. No one but you has access to your studio, your supplies, or your equipment.
WHY SHOULD I LEASE MY OWN STUDIO AT THE LOOK SALON?

The Look Salon is a new concept designed for experienced beauty professionals who want to break out of the traditional salon environment. If you have the experience and client base to start your own business, The Look Salon is for you. When you lease a Suite at The Look Salon, you get to keep all of your commissions, set your own hours, sell your own products, and be your own boss. When you lease a studio from The Look Salon, all you have to do is pay your weekly rent. We provide all of the equipment, furnishings, maintenance, and amenities to help ensure that your business is successful.
ARE THERE ANY PROMOTIONS AVAILABLE?

Best time to get a best deal is to pre lease during the construction period. The weekly rents for booking done during the construction period are typically discounted and also may be entitled to couple of weeks free rent with a yearly contract. Other Promotions may be announced from time to time. Promotions that are available to all our salon owners: - We typically offer 1 week off upon joining to give some time for the salon owner to move in and personalize their space. - We also offer maternity leave of 2 weeks to our salon owners. During the 2 weeks, rent is waived off for the salon owner.
HOW WILL THE LOOK SALON HELP ME GROW MY BUSINESS?

You have probably already built your client base with repeat business and referrals. The Look Salon also offers you a presence on https://www.thelooksalonsuites.com with your individual micro page. You may perform any other promotional or marketing activities at your discretion. The Look Salon Suite can also help you to with setting up your own customized website, google business page and SEO optimization for your business for an additional fees
DO I PAY A PERCENTAGE OF MY SALES TO THE LOOK SALON?

No. You charge your own prices for the services and products you offer and keep whatever you make.
WHAT OTHER COSTS (BESIDES RENT) ARE THERE TO START MY BUSINESS?

Other costs are minimal. You will need your state business license, which costs about $100. Each salon owner also needs liability insurance, which typically costs about $1/day. In addition to the other benefits of owning your own business, it’s important to keep in mind that suppliers often have special offers and discounts when you purchase salon materials in bulk. These special offers and discounts may help to offset startup costs.
HOW LARGE ARE THE STUDIOS AT THE LOOK SALON?

The Look Salon offers both single and double studios. Single suites range from 100-130 square feet, and double suites range from 150-230 square feet. Double Suites may be leased by an individual beauty professional or by two professionals who wish to go into business together.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO LEASE A STUDIO AT THE LOOK SALON?

Single Suites lease start from $300s per week. Single suites with a window lease in mid $300s per week. Double suites lease in the mid to high $400s per week. Double suites may be leased by an individual beauty professional or by two professionals who wish to go into business together. Prices deepens to the size of the suites and Location.
HOW DO I LEASE A STUDIO WITH THE LOOK SALONS?

IS THE LOOK SALON SUITES JUST FOR HAIR STYLISTS?

No. The Look Salons leases studios to a wide variety of beauty professionals, including hair stylists, nail technicians, massage therapists, estheticians, and others.
WHAT FURNISHINGS CAN I EXPECT WITH MY STUDIO?

The Look Salons furnishes each single studio with a lockable door, styling chair, shampoo sink, cabinetry, mirrors and dryer chair. Double studios include two styling chairs in addition to the furnishings listed above.
HOW MANY SUITES ARE AVAILABLE AT EACH LOCATION?

Each location has approximately 18-25 individual and double Suites.
MAY I DECORATE MY STUDIO?

Each studio will be painted to give the facility a fluid, upscale appearance. However, salon owners may decorate their individual studios with other materials that fit their individual styles and clientele.
HOW DO CLIENTS SET UP APPOINTMENTS AT THE LOOK SALON?

Each salon owner will have their own presence on https://www.thelooksalonsuites.com/, which includes their contact information. Clients may contact the salon owner directly to set appointments. Most of our salon owners choose to have a cell phone designated exclusively for their businesses.
MAY I SET MY OWN HOURS?

Yes. As a business owner, you are able to work the hours that fit your own schedule and the schedules of your clients. You may lock your studio when you are not working.
MAY I SELL STYLING PRODUCTS FROM MY STUDIO?

You may sell the products you use or support from your studio. However, you are not obligated or expected to sell styling products.
WILL I BE CHARGED FOR ANY MAINTENANCE THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN MY STUDIO?

WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF THE LEASE?

The Look Salons prefers that its salon owners sign one-year leases. However, they are negotiable down to six months. Salon owners signing leases lasting longer than one year may be eligible for special discounts.
DOES THE LOOK SALON PROVIDE HEALTH INSURANCE TO ITS SALON OWNERS?

Although The Look Salon does not directly offer health insurance to its salon owners, we will assist those who wish to procure it.
